On Saturday david and I went apple picking, which is one of our favorite things to do in the fall. We never miss a year, and since we went earlier in the apple picking season, we have plans to go again and try some of their other kinds. Per usual, we now have a ton of apples and aren't quite sure what to do with them. We made apple bread, which is a recipe I will share soon, but it only required one apple. ONE. We also have plans to make applesauce and apple muffins. Any other suggestions? This year we stepped it up and used an official apple picker, which allowed us to get the best apples way high up in the trees instead of hoisting each other up like last year. David was definitely a bit better at picking one apple without four others falling to the ground. Oops.
