these words

these words have been on my heart and mind this week.  They help me remember that what I do with this one short life is important, and yet at the same time, my life is incredibly insignificant: "but a breath."  I am realizing the only way to make a difference in the world around me is to allow God to use me, and stop trying to accomplish things in my own strength.  It is a realization that is both humbling and comforting.

Beautiful words. And important to remind oneself as much as possible. It puts things into perspective.

How beautiful. This is exactly what God has been telling me these past few weeks. I agree, both humbling and comforting. Knowing that my best isn't good enough, and that's ok.

Thank you so much for sharing this. Let go and let God, is what I try to remember to tell myself. We are His instruments!
