happy monday! These flowers are from david and were waiting for me on our table after working all day on Saturday (and whining a lotttt about it). He's a catch, that one. He told me this weekend that I have a really cute whining voice when I want something (this was when I was standing in front of the donuts at the grocery store), and I don't think he realized how dangerous that was to admit ;)
This weekend we...
ate chicken tacos, watched star wars (I know I know) with friends (who are currently in the hospital welcoming their baby girl to the world!), took a few long cold walks, went to a basketball game, worked on a few painting projects, made homemade chex mix and chocolate chip cookies, and watched the Superbowl on a giant projector screen with friends. Whew! It was good, you guys. Just what I needed.
I do have to admit that I am glad January is over. There is just something so anticlimactic about January. I do love winter, snow, the cold...yet there is something so overwhelmingly long about January. So au revoir, my January friend. It's not you, it's me.

what a sweetie, the flowers are perfect. and i agree, that was dangerous for him to admit! if my hubby told me that i would milk it for all it's worth :)
Those flowers are just beautiful. And any man who thinks his wife's whine is cute is a keeper. Haha. :)
I just love those flowers. Mostly bc of the history between you and Dave and flowers. :) 10 points, Dave!
I feel the exact same way about January. I was happy to see it go! And those flowers are beautiful!!
Your hilarious- you get those doughnuts, girl! Pretty flowers!
I love the color combo with the boutique
Aww. This is a precious post. I love the flowers; so pretty. and It sounds like you had a wonderful and fun weekend:)
I love flowers for no real reason :) Sounds like a keeper.
And totally jealous of that projector for the Superbowl. I would have gotten extra teary at the Clydesdale commercial.
