the time we babysat

but can we just talk about how delicious this little man is?!
last week david and I babysat our little friend Joel.

which, if I am being honest, I get a little weepy thinking our babies
are never coming out of the womb with such great black hair.
Or hair at all.

we babysat for a whole entire 3 hours,
so this was like a great big deal.

david was alone with him for an hour before I got back from work,
and that morning he was all,
"but, what if he, like, poops?"
and I: "change his diaper?"
come to find out my blessed husband has never changed a diaper,
and how could I possibly be the one to scar that experience upon him already?

and we kinda realized why people have babies,
instead of a tortoise or a dog, like us.
because, there is something charming and magical about a little baby!
except we won't tell Amber and Scooter that.

What an adorable baby!

I don't have children but if they turn out half as cute as this one, then I'm game!

you've got to be kidding me!! how cute is this kid!! ok that being said, i think you guys are quite wise to babysit, when my fellow comes over to get a taste of the nannying gig, we definitely realize how magical and awesome it is to play with kids and then how magical and awesome it is to go home to our quiet house :) haha. it's nice to know you have the perfect person when that time comes, but I'm definitely making sure to enjoy the fact that it's just the two of us for now. Amazing entry as always lady! hope you're having a great start to the month!

aawww, so cute! 3 hours is plenty of time to either, make you want to have one or make you want to NOT have one. haha

That's cute he's never changed a diaper before. My friend didn't have a baby until she was 35 and she'd never changed a diaper until her daughter. Crazy!

Aw...what a cute little kiddo! It's good for your hubby to get some practice in changing dirty diapers now right? Maybe you should have him babysit more often so he's ready for the day when your pets just aren't enough.

Oooh this is adorable =) =)
I'm sure your babies would be super cute even if they dont have a dark head of hair =)
I watch 3 little boys on a regular basis and they have blonde hair & blue eyes (prob what my own might look like) so when I go anywhere with them, people think they are mine =)
Rather amusing.
anyway I will stop rambling. First visit to your blog btw =)
Love it!
Much Love,
L
